What to Expect on the Inspection Visit
The inspection takes 30 minutes. A Philly Epoxy Floors installer arrives in a marked truck with a calibrated concrete moisture meter, a calcium-chloride moisture test kit for quantitative reads on basement and slab-on-grade jobs, a high-lumen LED work light, and a camera. They walk the entire slab, photograph the surface condition, the control joints, the bay-door threshold, any visible cracks, and any prior coating. They take moisture readings at multiple points. Then they sit down with you for 10-15 minutes and walk you through what they found.
What to Have Ready
To make the inspection visit as efficient as possible, please have ready: a rough idea of when the home or shop was built and whether the slab is original, any prior coating documentation if available, any quotes you’ve already received from other companies (we provide free second-opinion reviews), and clear access to the garage or basement. If the access is tight or the space is currently being used for storage, just let us know and we’ll work around it.
